update on Reliance and Meridian vehicle warranties
On January 30, 2002,the Ontario Superior Court of Justice extended the
January 31st date, referred to in the December
5, 2001 Notice to Policyholders, to April 30, 2002.The Meridian vehicle
warranties will, therefore, continue in effect until that date and it
is hoped that, by then, the provisional Liquidator, KPMG
Inc., will have concluded an agreement with another insurer to take
over the warranties.
